Who is generally eligible to appear for NEET-PG?
NBEMS says you need a recognised MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate, valid registration (permanent or provisional), and your one-year internship finished by the cut-off date in the current bulletin. That bulletin is the final word for every session. Don't rely on summaries.
Does MCC conduct all PG medical counselling?
No. MCC runs the PG routes on its portal: 50% All India Quota, deemed universities, central institutes, and some other categories. State authorities run state quota counselling separately. If you're entering multiple pathways, confirm who runs each one.
How should I choose between specialty and institution?
Start with the kind of clinical work you want to do every day. Then weigh up case mix, supervision quality, hospital exposure, accreditation, location, fees, bond terms, and your personal situation. A transparent model you built yourself beats a generic list someone handed you.
Are DNB and NBE Diploma options part of NEET-PG?
Yes. NBEMS lists post-MBBS DNB and NBE Diploma routes under the admissions covered by NEET-PG. But always check the current NBEMS and counselling authority documents for the session you're applying to. Participation rules can change.
Can you predict the exact closing rank for a programme?
Nobody can. Last year's data gives you a rough sense, but seats change, candidate behaviour shifts, category rules move, new colleges open, and round dynamics scramble everything. We use available evidence as a planning input, not a prediction you should bet on.
